Englishman River Regional Park
Englishman River Regional Park is a conservation area along the river corridor where visitors can experience the beauty of the Englishman River and its surrounding forests and wetlands. Protected through a partnership between conservation organizations and government agencies, the park provides important salmon habitat, including four kilometres of side channels. Home to wildlife such as elk, bears and cougars, the park offers plenty of space for walking, cycling and horseback riding while connecting visitors with nature.
Extend your adventure by crossing the Top Bridge suspension bridge to access the Top Bridge Regional Trail and explore more of the Oceanside region.
Dogs
For the enjoyment and safety of all trail users, please ensure your dog is under your control at all times, meaning:
- the dog remains in your line of sight
- can be brought to heel by calling
- does not annoy or injure other park users.
If you cannot keep your dog under control it must be restrained by a leash.
On the Channel Trail, dogs must be on-leash at all times. Please keep dogs out of the side channel as it is active salmon spawning and rearing habitat.
