Parks

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) manages a diverse network of parks, trails, natural areas, campgrounds and recreation facilities that support healthy communities, outdoor recreation and the protection of natural areas.

The RDN park system includes both community and regional parks and trails, providing a range of outdoor experiences, from local parks and trails close to home to regional parks, trails and natural areas throughout the region.

Whether you are planning a visit, exploring camping opportunities, or learning more about the park system, RDN parks and trails offer a variety of ways to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors.
