2022 Parks and Trails Strategy
The 2022 RDN Parks and Trails Strategy provides a vision and a series of goals that will guide future direction of both regional and community parks services for the next 10 years. It builds on the Regional Parks and Trails Plan (2005) and the Community Parks and Trails Strategy for Electoral Areas E, F, G, and H (2014) to present a unified approach to parks and trails planning, development and management in the RDN.
The PTS presents an overarching 20-year vision that sets the strategic direction for developing and managing RDN regional and community parks and trails. This vision is the foundation for the 10-year strategic goals and action plan, five-year financial plans, and one-year performance objectives.
