Launch of New "Conditions" Feature

Effective March 16, 2026

Building Permit Online Portal Update

We are pleased to announce that a new “Conditions” feature will be added to the Building Permit Online Portal for permits issued on or after March 16, 2026.

What are “Conditions”?

Conditions are specific requirements—such as submitting documentation or completing a designated task—that must be satisfied before an inspection can be booked.

New Requirement for BCLS Submissions

For permits issued on or after March 16, 2026, any permit that includes a condition requiring a BCLS (BC Land Survey) must now have the BCLS uploaded directly to the portal under the Conditions section. Once the BCLS has been uploaded, the related inspection will automatically become available for booking.
