Descanso Bay Regional Park
Descanso Bay Regional Park is a 14-hectare oceanfront park that offers camping, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and picnicking just a short walk from the ferry terminal and village centre on Gabriola Island. Nestled among the trees and shoreline, the park features 32 campsites, a small boat launch, scenic trails, and two sheltered oyster bays to explore. As a designated stop on the Salish Sea Marine Trail, it is a popular destination for paddlers and campers, while the extensive trail network at nearby Cox Community Park provides easy access to the island’s forests and community amenities.
