Beachcomber Regional Park

Beachcomber Regional Park is a one-hectare oceanfront park located at the end of the Beachcomber Peninsula in Nanoose Bay. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Craig Bay, Parksville, Mount Arrowsmith and the mainland Coastal Mountains. At low tide, the rocky shoreline becomes an ideal place for beach exploration and tide pool discovery. Short trails also lead through scenic arbutus, Douglas-fir and Garry oak woodland.

Trail Length and Difficulty

The park includes a network of short trails that lead to beaches and viewpoints. Expect about a 100 – 200 metre walk from the trailhead to the beach. The trails are well-maintained but have stairs and steep sections, so are not universally accessible.

Dogs

For the enjoyment and safety of all trail users, please ensure your dog is under your control at all times, meaning:

  • the dog remains in your line of sight
  • can be brought to heel by calling
  • does not annoy or injure other park users.

If you cannot keep your dog under control it must be restrained by a leash.
